Term 1 Mini Crusaders and Crusaders received their certificates and badges in assembly. A big well done to them all.
Our end of term 100% attendance pupils received their certificates and badges or pencils, please join with us in congratulating them.
Unfortunately, our local church is closed over the Christmas period, but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying our annual Christmas Tree Festival. The children enjoyed retelling the Nativity story, particularly those that got to dress up. A big thank you to our local reverends for delivering the assembly!
Each class made poppies for a whole school wreath to lay at the Pleasley Cenotaph. All the school pupils attended the service. Also, each class made their own wreaths which were put on show at Shirebrook Holy Trinity church.
What a great collection of food the pupils have donated for Harvest. The food arranged by our year 6's took centre stage in our hall, all this week. Well done pupils and their families.
Wow!! What a fantastic amount you all raised for Red Nose Day 2024!!
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to give £424 to the charity!!!
Thankyou so much!
Pupils and staff across the whole school dressed up as their favourite fictional book character or used an dressed in relation to an adjective. They looked incredible, too. See a sample for yourself in our photograph gallery.

Our Y5/6 pupils who took part in the 5 day residential visit to Wales had a wonderful time experiencing new outdoor adventure activities and learning new skills at the CMC centre near Harlech. As well as visiting the beach and Harlech castle, they experienced rock climbing, canoeing, wilderness skills, including fire lighting, water purification and shelter building; team building games, orienteering, archery and a firm favourite- gorge walking! Have a look at the photographs.
The staff at the CMC centre spoke very highly of our children- making us proud as always.
Well done everyone!
