    Fri 21 Dec 2018

  • Christmas fair

    Wed 19 Dec 2018

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Christmas fair this year. There was face painting, a visit from Santa, raffles and food and drink to buy. We raised a massive £1400 which will be spent on the children over the next year or so.

Many thanks to the staff and parents who helped out and of course to you for supporting it.

  • Choir performance at Shirebrook Academy

    Wed 12 Dec 2018
Wow! Our choir were invited to perform at Shirebrook Academy as part of their Christmas Musical extravaganza. They sang 'Hallelulah' with stunning solos from Trinity P, Jaymie-Leigh W, Tyler G and Jake J and a Christmas medley called 'Snow Business' in which they not only demonstrated their singing talents, they also showed how well they could move! They were incredible and the feedback we received from everybody was amazing! Well done, Choir!
  • School Choir performance at Mansfield Market

    Mon 10 Dec 2018
Our fabulous school choir performed at the Christmas market in Mansfield this week, singing a range of Christmas modern and traditional songs. Several pupils sang a solo and for many pupils, this was their first time. They were all wonderful and received great feedback and have been asked to perform again next year at several events throughout the year. Thank you to everyone who came to support us.
  • Christmas tree festival

    Wed 05 Dec 2018

Yesterday, children in main school and the morning nursery walked down to St Michael's Church to look at the Christmas trees.

There were trees from each of our classes in school and also trees from local businesses and families.

The Church looked absolutely beautiful and when our children sang some of their Christmas songs it really made us feel that Christmas has started.

Thank you to Rev. Karen who spoke to us all and thank you to the parents who joined us to celebrate the start of our Christmas festivities.

  • Sports hall athletics

    Mon 03 Dec 2018

On Wednesday 29th November two Year 5/6 teams (boys and girls) took part in the Sportshall athletics competition in Clowne. After several hard training sessions they took part in activities such as a relay, javelin, sprint, obstacle and long jump. The children were very well behaved and put so much effort into the events.

At the end of the competition our school came second and can now go forward to the next round.

Mrs Johnson, who trained the team, was very proud of them and is now planning even more training sessions!

Thanks to the parents who transported the children to the venue and stayed to cheer them on.
