Our Y5/6 pupils who took part in the 5 day residential visit to Wales had a wonderful time experiencing new outdoor adventure activities and learning new skills at the CMC centre near Harlech. As well as visiting the beach and Harlech castle, they experienced rock climbing, canoeing, wilderness skills, including fire lighting, water purification and shelter building; team building games, orienteering, archery and a firm favourite- gorge walking! Have a look at the photographs.
The staff at the CMC centre spoke very highly of our children- making us proud as always.
Well done everyone!
We’ve had our Harvest assembly today, where each class performed something in relation to harvest. Heir performances included songs with actions, poems, prayers, and presentations about Harvest around the world. It can be quite daunting to perform in front of the whole school so we are really proud of them all!
Thank you for all the donations. I know everyone has been affected by the cost-of-living crisis which has made the donations even more special this year. Your kind donations have now been sent to support local soup kitchens/food banks to ensure families can get the support they need.
The children looked lovely in their red, white and blue clothes and our celebration picnic, which took place on our playground was a really lovely event. Seeing the whole school together was really special. The children have really enjoyed the activities today to celebrate the Coronation of our new King!
Thankyou to all those who came to visit the book fair last week. We are so pleased to tell you that we have raised £800 to spend on books for our children to use in class. WOW!!
Our book fair will be visiting school between Tuesday 28th February and Monday 6th March.
Books will be available to look at and buy after school each day between 3:15pm and 3:45pm.
Please come along and support us. Every book sold earns cash for us to buy books for the whole school with. Last year we were extremely successful and were able to purchase over £1000 worth of books which your children are now enjoying in class.
This year, we have gone cashless so you can use your credit or debit card to buy books too!
If you haven't already done so can you follow the link to book your child onto the flu immunisation which is happening next Monday 28th November 2022 in school.
We are very proud to be in the CHAD this week, following the publication of our recent Ofsted report. Click the link below to read for yourself!
