We entered 4 teams of 4 in the Lawn Bowls competition at The Arc Sports Centre in Clowne. 21 teams took part in total. Our blue team achieved 3rd place- narrowly missing the final by 1 point. The other teams did very well, too, achieving 5th, 9th and 11th places. It was wonderful to see the children refining their skills throughout the competition. Well done to all.
  • Remembrance Service 11th November 2016

    Fri 11 Nov 2016

Our Remembrance service at the memorial in Pleasley today was wonderful. The sun was shining and the children, as always, represented the school beautifully on the walk to and from Pleasley and during the service itself. The wreaths made by all the children were all unique and very thoughtfully and carefully made.

Thank you to our Y6 readers- Marcie James and Amber Poxson- who read the Exhortation so eloquently.

Thank you also to our singing group- Kira Proctor, Paige Allen, Lilly McGuire and Mickey Alfi- who each sang so beautifully leading the way for the Key Stage 2 song.

Thank you to the fabulous live playing of the Last Post and the Reveille.

Finally, thank you to all Parents and Governors who joined us for this special service.

    Wed 02 Nov 2016
What a 'spookily' fun evening! The children looked very scary in their costumes- many of them completely unrecognisable. It was a great evening and raised over £100 for our rewards! Thank you for your support!
