Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Our Remembrance service at the memorial in Pleasley today was wonderful. The sun was shining and the children, as always, represented the school beautifully on the walk to and from Pleasley and during the service itself. The wreaths made by all the children were all unique and very thoughtfully and carefully made.
Thank you to our Y6 readers- Marcie James and Amber Poxson- who read the Exhortation so eloquently.
Thank you also to our singing group- Kira Proctor, Paige Allen, Lilly McGuire and Mickey Alfi- who each sang so beautifully leading the way for the Key Stage 2 song.
Thank you to the fabulous live playing of the Last Post and the Reveille.
Finally, thank you to all Parents and Governors who joined us for this special service.
Thank you for all the contributions for our Harvest collection. I think this was the best display yet and those less fortunate than ourselves will be very happy to receive your kind donations. If you attended the assembly or stay and play events, we hope you enjoyed these.
Have a look at the display you helped to create!

I am very pleased to announce we are the Champion School for Sport for 2016. Well done to everybody that competed for the school during 2015-16.
As if that is not amazing enough, we have also been crowned 'Junior team of the Year 2016' for the Y5/6 Sportshall Athletics team which became the County Champions.
The awards were presented at the Bolsover Council Chambers on Friday 14th October. 6 members of the Sportshall Athletics team represented the school to collect both awards. Well done, team!
