World Mental Health day

We started World Mental Health Day off with a good old sing and dance session in assembly. It is a proven fact that singing and dancing releases "feel good" hormones in the body and we all felt much happier after the session.

Back in our classrooms we talked about what Mental Health is and how we can keep feeling good about ourselves.

In year 6 the children talked about what made them special and they ended the day with some "mindfulness" colouring whilst listening to soothing music.
