TT Rock Star day
On Friday our school was full of rock stars - from every era of History - we had Elvis Presley, Cyndy Lauper and Meat Loaf all sitting in the same room!
The aim of the day was to highlight the importance of learning our Times Tables through the medium of the computer game TT Rock Stars. Each class from Year 2 upwards had an in class battle, usually girls against boys. The younger children had a counting battle. There was a winner from each class and they received a Rock Hero T-shirt to keep.
Mr Cutt and Mrs Johnson had a Tables competition in front of the whole school!
The day was a resounding success, the children looked fabulous and more importantly - their Multiplication skills are improving rapidly.
