Remembrance service Friday 8th November
We were lucky with the weather on Friday and it meant that everyone from Reception to year 6 could walk down to the Cenotaph to pay their respects. The children sang a song and the service was conducted by Rev Karen. A cornet player played "The Last Post" and all our children stood in silence for two minutes to remember people who had given their lives so that we can live in freedom.
Each class had made a poppy wreath and these were placed by the memorial for all to see.
Thank you to all the friends and family who turned out to remember with us. It was a proud day for Anthony Bek.
