On Wednesday 13th November some of the Foundation stage children came back to school in their pyjamas for a bedtime story session. They brought their parents and the hall was set out with cosy tents, cushions and twinkling lights to give a lovely relaxed sleepy atmosphere. Everyone was treated to hot chocolate and biscuits and it was lovely to see the children sharing stories with their parents.
Miss Harrison launched a book lending scheme and spoke to the parents whilst Mrs Abbott-Lewin read to the children. It was a lovely evening and thanks must go to the Foundation stage team who organised it.
Apologies that the photographs are not brilliant - I blame the dim lights!
