Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
4 boys and 4 girls went a swimming competition at The Arc Pool in Clowne. They competed in several types of swimming races, like breast stroke, back stroke, front crawl and kicks in the different strokes. (you only use your legs and hold on to a board). Overall the children came 2nd place, which was amazing because we have never entered any swimming competitions in the past. This is the first one. As well as being runners up, 3 of the children came 3rd in their individual races. Everyone enjoyed the event and would love the chance of doing it again next year.
32 children out of years 3 and 4 went on a residential trip to Walesby Forest. This was for a total of 2 nights/3 days. All of the children who attended the trip had a wonderful time. Everyone said that the meals were nice.
Thomas in year 4 said, "It was fun and I was never bored. I really enjoyed it and if I could then I would go again next year!"
Oliver in year 4 said, "It was funny. It was an opportunity never to be missed. It was entertaining and hilarious."
Jake J from year 3 said, "It was the best trip that I have ever been on and I will definitely go again next year. My favourite activity was body boarding."
Brooke from year 3 said, " It was really fun and my favourite things were canoeing and the disco."
Mrs Smith said, "I loved every minute of it. The children were wonderful but I got stuck in the bunk bed. I hope that I can go again next year."
