Welcome, Visions and Values

Welcome to Anthony Bek Community Primary School.

We are a relatively small school with a big heart and even bigger aspirations! One of the first comments from all visitors is how warm and welcoming our school is. Ensuring we offer the broadest range of experiences and opportunities to our pupils is one of our key aims. We regularly receive very complimentary feedback about the range offered to pupils, especially from parents who have moved schools to join us.

This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

Our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do. Our staff attend regular Safeguarding training and are extremely vigilant thus ensuring that any concerns are immediately identified and addressed.

At Anthony Bek, we aim for all children to become 'Crusaders' in Education. Anthony Bek was a crusader himself, who took part in many hard fought journeys so it was decided to use this as the inspiration behind the journey our children take to be awarded the prestigious honour of achieving the 'Crusader in Education' status.
Our aim is to create a safe, happy, positive and caring work environment which models and develops respect and cooperation and where children are valued, both academically and socially. Our children are challenged and supported to fulfill their potential, through the experience of a broad, balanced and creative curriculum, which celebrates diversity and emphasises the career opportunities in life beyond education. Our aim is to create reflective, lifelong learners who are unrelenting as they meet the challenges that our rapidly changing world brings.

Our Crusader Code:

Cooperate
Respect
Unrelenting
Safe
Achieve
Diverse
Enjoy
Reflect
